Sanda Telen founded Oilcon Oil&Energy Consulting to provide technical support and training programs designed for oil and gas industry and related businesses, industrial and independent laboratories, government and NGO bodies.

Sanda is an expert in conventional, biofuels and alternative fuels, ranging from the crude selection process to formulation of finished products, providing services for oil and gas industry, auto industry, distributors and traders, chemicals and additive producers and suppliers. She provides support in business improvement and development, helps navigate complex regulations and organises general and tailor-made training and workshops.

Sanda is an expert in laboratory management, providing services for industrial and small-scale laboratories, laboratory instrumentation producers and suppliers, as well as in process organisation monitoring and development, quality management, staff training and benchmarking.

As a former manager of advanced technologies and product development in oil and gas industry, she has a broad operational experience in product portfolio strategy, product recipes, formulations and additive selection, product quality road mapping and benchmarking. She was responsible for crude evaluation processes with emphasis on opportunity crudes, managing operative crude basket. She covered relevant legislative and technical standards and communicated with national and international regulatory bodies.

As a long-time laboratory manager, she has comprehensive knowledge of laboratory processes, including laboratory staff training and equipment selection as well as financing, benchmarking, efficiency improvement and total quality management processes.

Sanda holds a university degree in chemical engineering, PhD in analytical chemistry and business school diploma.
